Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team in a dynamic, caring environment. You will support daily classroom operations, deliver Cadence programs, and help children thrive socially, emotionally, and academically while ensuring safety and licensing compliance.

Under supervision, you will foster positive relationships with children and families, adapt activities for diverse needs, and participate in ongoing professional development and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety procedures and policies consistently.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment that respects each child.
• Greet children and families daily and establish welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavioral plans.
• Support in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual, documenting accidents and incidents.
• Assist in managing and escalating child behaviors per Cadence policies.
• Adhere to all Cadence Education policies in the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development, possibly outside regular hours.
