Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team in a licensed childcare center. This role supports daily classroom operations, delivers Cadence programs, and ensures a safe, nurturing environment for children including those with IEPs.

Qualifications

• Safety procedures must be consistently followed in a classroom setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team.
• Read, write, and speak effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment with dignity and care for each child.
• Greet children and families daily and establish welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs per IEPs.
• Support Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Communicate professionally with families using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents.
• Assist in managing and escalating child behaviors per Cadence policies.
• Adhere to Cadence Education policies and the Employee Handbook.
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and professional development outside hours.
