Job summary

Cadence Education in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support daily classroom activities under the direction of the School Director and lead teachers. You will help maintain a safe, nurturing environment and assist with Cadence Education programs to support children’s development, including those with IEPs.

This role offers an hourly wage of $13.65 to $16.65, full-time benefits, on-demand pay, tuition discounts, 401(k), health plans, paid time off, CDA opportunities, and

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Must meet state education and experience requirements.
• CDA preferred but not required if state licensing is satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, respectful classroom environment for every child.
• Greet children and families daily and build welcoming relationships.
• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence programs.
• Follow safety, supervision policies and document incidents.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff using Cadence tools.
• Participate in required meetings and trainings.
