Cadence Education is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant in Charlotte, NC. You will support a nurturing classroom, greet families, and help implement the Cadence curriculum while ensuring safety and developmentally appropriate activities.

Under supervision, you will assist with behavioral and developmental support plans, maintain documentation, and participate in trainings and meetings. The role offers benefits and opportunities for growth within a network of 340+ schools.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety procedures including allergy processes, Safe Sleep practices, and daily health checks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a classroom team.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, respectful classroom environment for every child.
• Greet families daily and foster professional relationships.
• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Education programs.
• Communicate with families and staff using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Safety and Supervision policies and report accidents as required.
• Document and report escalated child behaviors per Cadence procedures.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development as required.
