Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support daily classroom activities and Cadence Education programs under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher. This role helps maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children, including those with IEPs, while ensuring licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Follow safety procedures and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with classroom staff as part of a team.
• Read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Greet children and families daily and build welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs.
• Support curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff using Cadence tools.
• Document and report accidents and incidents per policy.
• Manage escalated child behaviors per Cadence procedures.
• Adhere to Cadence policies in the Employee Handbook.
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and professional development.
