Job summary

Cadence Education is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support daily classroom activities, implement Cadence Education programs, and ensure a safe, nurturing learning environment for all children, including those with IEPs.

Under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will greet families, assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, and collaborate with staff to promote a positive classroom culture and strong team dynamics.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred, but not required if state licensing is met.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education is valued.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive classroom environment and treat each child with care and respect.
• Greet children and families daily and help build welcoming relationships.
• Assist with developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Education safety policies and document incidents as required.
• Assist with behavior documentation and reporting per Cadence procedures.
