Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant in Pekin, IL to support daily classroom activities and Cadence programs. You will help maintain a safe, nurturing environment and assist with differentiation for individual learning needs, including IEPs where applicable.

You’ll collaborate with lead teachers and school leadership, participate in required trainings, and enjoy comprehensive benefits, including on-demand pay, tuition discounts, 401(k) matching, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred, but not required if state licensing requirements are met.
• Experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support a positive and respectful classroom environment for every child.
• Greet children and families daily and build welcoming relationships.
• Assist with implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence programs.
• Follow Cadence Education policies and report incidents per guidelines
