Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred, per state licensing requirements.
• Prior early childhood or classroom experience preferred.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for Teacher Assistant.
• Ability to obtain background clearances and health screenings.
• CDA preferred but not required if state requirements are satisfied.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive, respectful classroom environment.
• Greet children and families daily and build welcoming relationships.
• Support developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence programs.
• Assist with implementing IEPs and behavioral plans as directed.
• Document and report accidents and incidents per policy.
• Communicate professionally with families using Cadence tools.
• Adhere to safety and supervision procedures.
• Participate in required meetings and professional development.
