Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in applicable field of education from a PSC-approved college or university.
• 3 years teaching experience preferred (preschool)
• Preschool curriculum knowledge and IDEA/IEP familiarity

• Plan and provide developmentally appropriate instruction for preschool children with special needs.
• Provide direct or specially designed instruction per IEPs and district curriculum.
• Consult with administrators to develop and maintain academic and behavioral management programs.
• Participate as an active team member and support classroom teachers.
• Conduct in-service programs on special education and IDEA topics.
• Collaborate with regular educators to support students with disabilities in general classrooms.
• Develop long- and short-term instructional objectives aligned with curriculum.
• Identify prerequisite skills and plan instruction to promote mastery.
• Assess student work and plan assessments to measure progress.
• Prepare written lesson plans and communicate clear learning objectives.
• Organize content logically and present in structured blocks.
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and technology to enhance learning.
• Provide formative and summative assessments and feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain organized classroom environment and effective behavior expectations.
• Assist with physical needs of students when appropriate and ensure safe travel within school.
