Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Teacher Preschool - Sp Ed Pre-Kindergarten for the Georgia school system. You will design and deliver developmentally appropriate instruction for preschool students with special needs, aligned to IEPs and state standards.

The role requires collaboration with administrators, regular educators, and families to support inclusive practices, with strong assessment, behavior management, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education from PSC-approved college or university
• Meets Georgia certification requirements in appropriate field of education (Required)
• Valid Georgia driver's license (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide developmentally appropriate instruction to preschool children with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction and/or specially designed instruction aligned with IEPs and district curriculum.
• Collaborate with administrators and teachers to develop academic and behavioral programs.
• Participate as an active team member and support duties shared by classroom teachers.
• Deliver in-service programs on special education topics and IDEA compliance.
• Communicate and work with regular educators to support students with disabilities in general classrooms.
• Develop long and short-term instructional objectives based on district curriculum.
• Plan instruction to promote mastery of prerequisite skills and knowledge.
• Use effective instructional strategies and technology to enhance learning.
• Provide formative and summative assessments and communicate progress to parents.
