Ampersand Therapy in Seattle, WA is hiring a School Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, short-term leave coverage position serving two school locations. The role emphasizes developmental preschool and a program for medically complex students, with collaboration across sites.

The position requires a Master's in SLP/CSD, WA licensure or eligibility, and ESAs certificate or eligibility; CCC-SLP is preferred and Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• WA State SLP license or licensure eligibility.
• WA ESAs certificate or eligibility.
• CCC-SLP credential preferred.
• Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply.
• Fingerprints on file with OSPI or willingness to complete.
• Two supervisory references required.
• Experience with preschool or medically complex school-based populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Provide individual and small-group therapy sessions.
• Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals.
• Support students across communication needs including AAC.
• Track progress and maintain accurate service documentation.
• Prepare evaluation and progress reports; participate in IEP/eligibility meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other staff to support students.
