Big Horn County School District #2 is seeking a Preschool Paraprofessional for Lovell Elementary School. The role supports the pre-kindergarten program and assists students in achieving academic success.

The position involves reinforcing instructional activities, providing one-on-one or small group instruction, and helping with non-instructional duties such as lunch, bus, and playground supervision. Wage and contract length will be determined by the Board.

Qualifications

• Assist students in non-instructional areas, such as supervising the student lunch programs, bus duty, playground duty, and other related non-instructional areas.
• Follow district policy and procedures.

Performance Responsibilities:

• To aid and support the teacher in the pre-kindergarten program
• Assist students in achieving academic success
• Reinforce instructional activities with students as prescribed by the teacher. Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students.
• Assist students by providing proper examples, emotional support, a friendly attitude and general guidance.
• Prepare materials for instruction.
• Assist students in non-instructional areas, such as supervising the student lunch programs, bus duty, playground duty, and other related non-instructional areas.
• Follow district policy and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Services, the building principal or superintendent.

Terms of Employment: Wage and length of contract to be determined by the Board.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the board's policy on evaluation of support personnel.
