Job summary

The YMCA of Snohomish County is seeking a Half Day Preschool program leader for the Mill Creek YMCA. You will provide direction for the program and staff, implementing your curriculum in a safe, inclusive environment.

You will plan daily lessons, supervise up to 15 children, and maintain communication with parents while keeping essential program records. This role requires DCYF qualifications and a commitment to inclusive, developmentally appropriate care.

Qualifications

• DCYF qualifications and ECE coursework within 5 years of hire.
• Documentation of DCYF certification and training, including TB test and MMR immunity.
• Portable background check requirements.
• Fluency in a second language preferred.
• Early Achievers knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily lesson and activity plans.
• Supervise up to 15 children and activities within the program area.
• Maintain a daily schedule and respond to individual needs in a positive climate.
• Observe, schedule and complete evaluations for each child.
• Maintain communication with parents and program records.
