Job summary

The YMCA of Snohomish County in Everett, WA is seeking a full-time childcare supervisor to provide a safe, engaging environment for a group of children. This role includes implementing lesson plans, ensuring compliance with DCYF and YMCA policies, and supporting families through events and daily activities.

Applicants should meet DCYF education requirements and health prerequisites, with fluency in a second language preferred.

Qualifications

• DCYF qualifications including ECE coursework within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all children and activities in the program area.
• Implement daily lesson and activity plans.
• Comply with state and local regulations and YMCA standards.
• Adhere to program safety and cleanliness standards.
• Attend and participate in family events and staff meetings.
• Follow YMCA policies including medical and disciplinary procedures.
• Maintain positive relations with participants, parents and staff.
• Assist with diapering and toilet training of children.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
