Job summary

The position requires meeting Oregon DLCD Preschool for All standards, a relevant degree or credential, and active enrollment in state registry where applicable.

Qualifications

• Pass a YMCA Background Check.
• Meet lead teacher standards per Oregon DLCD and Preschool for All.
• Associates degree or higher in child development or credential related to preschool.

Responsibilities

• Lead teacher supervises teachers, aides, and volunteers.
• Maintain a safe, developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Develop and implement a fun, engaging curriculum and build positive relationships with children and families.
