Job summary

Youth In Need, Inc. seeks a Preschool Educator at the Academy Neighborhood School to create a warm, welcoming classroom where children can reach their highest potential.

You will partner with parents and colleagues to deliver responsive, developmentally appropriate instruction and strong classroom management. Requirements include a Bachelor's or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (or related degree with 36 hours in ECE), Head Start or licensed program experience, and CPR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or related degree with 36 hours in ECE/Child Development.
• 3+ years' experience in Head Start or licensed community childcare program preferred.
• CPR certification and Driver's License are required.

This Position:

We are interested in Preschool Teachers with a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Early Childhood education or Child Development from an accredited college/university. A related degree will be considered with at least 36 hours in ECE/Child Development.

We're looking for someone with 3+ years' experience working in a Head Start Program or a licensed community childcare program, preferred.

Driver's License and ability to be CPR certified are required.

This is an hourly position, starting at $22.14/hour with the required CDA credential or equivalent or $16.29/hour prior to obtaining the required CDA credential or equivalent.
