Job summary

Youth In Need, Inc. is seeking an Infant Toddler Support Educator to create a nurturing classroom where children can reach their highest potential.

You will partner with parents and colleagues to implement responsive care, effective classroom management, and developmentally appropriate lesson planning. Hires should have an Infant/Toddler CDA or be willing to obtain one and a High School Diploma or equivalent, with 1+ years in Early Head Start or licensed childcare.

Qualifications

• Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate credential is required or the provider will assist in obtaining one.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of experience in an Early Head Start program or licensed child care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive infant/toddler care in a warm, welcoming classroom.
• Demonstrate classroom management and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Plan developmentally suitable lessons and partner with parents and colleagues.

This Position:

• We are interested in Infant Toddler Support Educators with a minimum of an Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (we can help you get this!) and a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• We're looking for someone with 1 or more years' experience working in an Early Head Start Program or a licensed community childcare program.

This is an hourly position with starting pay at $16.29/hour.
