Job summary

Youth In Need seeks an Infant Toddler Support Educator to create a warm, welcoming classroom and partner with parents to support children’s growth. This hourly role starts at $16.29 per hour with competitive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, PTO, holidays, sick days, vacation, 401k with 3% employer match, tuition assistance and growth opportunities.

Qualified candidates have a CDA or higher and a High School Diploma, plus 1+ years’ experience in an Early Head Start program

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in an Early Head Start program or licensed childcare program.
• Must have Infant/Toddler CDA or be able to obtain one with assistance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Infant/Toddler responsive care in a warm, welcoming classroom.
• Demonstrate classroom management, lesson planning and developmentally appropriate practice.
• Partner with parents and colleagues to support children's learning.

This Position

• We are interested in Infant Toddler Support Educators with a minimum of an Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (we can help you get this!) and a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• We're looking for someone with 1 or more years' experience working in an Early Head Start Program or a licensed community childcare program.

This is an hourly position with starting pay at $16.29/hour.
