Job summary

Youth In Need, Inc. is seeking an Infant Toddler Educator to create a warm, welcoming classroom that supports young children’s growth. You will partner with families and colleagues to implement developmentally appropriate practices and exemplary care.

The role requires a CDA or related degree with ECE coursework and at least 3 years of experience in Early Head Start or licensed childcare. The position offers hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Infant/Toddler CDA or a degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development with related coursework.
• 3+ years' experience in an Early Head Start program or licensed childcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive care for infants/toddlers and implement developmentally appropriate practices.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Collaborate with parents and colleagues to support children's growth and development.
• Demonstrate effective classroom management and positive behavior guidance.

This Position:

• We are interested in Infant Toddler Educators with a minimum of an Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (we can help you get this!) OR a degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development Related degree or credential will be considered with at least 12 hours of ECE/Child Development coursework.
• We're looking for someone with experience working in an Early Head Start Program or a licensed community childcare program and who has 3 or more years' experience.

This is an hourly position, starting at $22.14/hour with the required CDA credential or equivalent or $16.19/hour prior to obtaining the required CDA credential or equivalent.
