Job summary

Youth In Need, Inc. is seeking an Infant Toddler Educator to create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that helps children reach their highest potential while partnering with parents and colleagues.

You will demonstrate exemplary infant/toddler responsive care, strong classroom management, and thoughtful lesson planning with developmentally appropriate practice, supported by a CDA or Early Childhood degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Infant/Toddler CDA or a degree/credential in Early Childhood Education/Child Development.
• At least 12 hours of ECE/Child Development coursework.
• 3+ years of experience in an Early Head Start program or licensed childcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary infant/toddler responsive care in a warm, welcoming classroom.

This Position

• We are interested in Infant Toddler Teachers with a minimum of an Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (we can help you get this!) OR a degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development Related degree or credential will be considered with at least 12 hours of ECE/Child Development coursework.
• We're looking for someone with experience working in an Early Head Start Program or a licensed community childcare program and who has 3 or more years' experience.

This is an hourly position, starting at $22.14/hour with the required CDA credential or equivalent or $16.29/hour prior to obtaining the required CDA credential or equivalent.

Salary: $16.29 - $22.14 per hour
