Job summary

Union County Community Action, Inc. is seeking a dependable Classroom Aide to support preschool classroom activities in Wadesboro, NC. The role involves assisting teachers, supervising children, and helping with records and family engagement.

The starting rate is $14 per hour with Monday–Friday schedules (40 hours/week). Eligible benefits include PSLF eligibility, medical/dental/vision insurance, life and disability coverage, 401(k), holidays, tuition assistance, and professional development

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EDU 119 or CDA Credential preferred.
• Experience working with young children preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or ability to obtain.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening and TB test, and must submit to random drug screenings.

Start or grow your early childhood career while helping children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. UCCA is seeking a dependable Classroom Aide to assist teachers in preschool classrooms. You will support daily activities, child supervision, classroom organization, and family engagement as part of a collaborative education team.

Starting Rate: $14 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday 6:45am-2:45pm or 7:30am-3:30pm (40 hours/week)

Physical Demands
