Job summary

Union County Community Action, Inc. in Wadesboro, NC is seeking a dependable Teacher’s Aide to support Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms. You will assist teachers with daily activities, supervise children, and help keep records, contributing to a safe, nurturing learning environment.

Starting at $14 per hour, schedule Monday–Friday, 40 hours weekly. Must have high school diploma or GED; CPR/First Aid certification required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• EDU 119 or CDA Credential preferred.
• Experience working with young children preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or ability to obtain.

Start or grow your early childhood career while helping children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. UCCA is seeking a dependable Classroom Aide to assist teachers in Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms.

You will support daily activities, child supervision, classroom organization, and family engagement as part of a collaborative education team.

Starting Rate: $14 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:45am-2:45pm or 7:30am-3:30pm (40 hours/week)
