Job summary

Crossroads-Ymca- is seeking a Preschool Director to lead daily operations of preschool and related youth programs, while supporting year-round camp programming. You will recruit, train, and coach teachers and staff, ensuring safe, inclusive, developmentally appropriate experiences for children and families.

This hands-on leader balances program quality, licensing compliance, and family relations, with a focus on engagement, enrollment, and community partnerships.

Qualifications

• CDA credential or higher in early childhood education.
• Experience supervising, coaching, and developing staff.
• Knowledge of state childcare licensing regulations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of preschool and youth programs.
• Oversee camp programming and seasonal experiences.
• Create safe, welcoming, developmentally appropriate environments.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and evaluate teachers and staff.
• Monitor enrollment, program quality, and family satisfaction.
• Manage budgets and program growth.
