Job summary

You will build relationships with parents, staff, and partners while guiding curriculum and compliance with Title 22 and ADA requirements.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, enrollment growth, and strong community engagement within the LA Y centers and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in child development is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with children 0-5 in a group setting.
• Current Child Development Site Supervisor or Program Director permit, plus emergency certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize high‑quality licensed infant/toddler preschool programs.
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards.
• Develop budgets, enrollment goals, and staff onboarding.
• Coach staff, supervise children, and maintain parent communication and involvement.
• Support inclusion and equity initiatives and engage community partners.

Education
