Job summary

Crossroads-Ymca- invites an experienced School Age Director to lead before/after school, break and camp programs across multiple sites in Lake County. You will oversee staff, partner with schools and communities, and drive youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

You will recruit and develop a large team, ensure quality and licensing compliance, monitor enrollment and satisfaction, and manage budgets while maintaining a safe, engaging environment for children and families.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in youth development or school-age programming.
• Ability to recruit, coach, and develop a large staff.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of before/after school and camp programs.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, schedule, and develop staff.
• Foster an inclusive culture with children, families, schools, and partners.
• Monitor program quality, enrollment, and retention; ensure safety.
• Develop and manage program budgets and schedules.
