Job summary

CDS Preschool Programs in Maine seeks a BCBA to support children with disabilities ages 3–5 across Brewer, Rockland and Waterville. Travel between sites is required and home base can be in any of the three communities.

You will evaluate and support students receiving special education services, train staff in programming and behavior management, conduct functional assessments, develop behavior plans, and provide implementation guidance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA, Special Education, Human Development, or related field.
• Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Experience with behavioral assessment and intervention for young children with autism.
• Successful background checks including Maine DOE and DHHS childcare eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and consulting services to preschools.
• Support preschool team in curriculum development and staff training.
• Develop individualized behavior plans based on observation and data.
• Document services accurately and professionally.
• Monitor interventions and support classroom staff.
• Attend IEP and classroom meetings as appropriate.
• Complete CDS reporting and billing accurately and timely.
• Assist program manager in staff training development.
• Function as a confidential employee and preschool leadership team member.
