Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Plano, TX is seeking a Presales Engineer for ALWIN to lead customer and integrator technical presentations and demos, and support Vertical Market Managers through the sales cycle.

You'll translate requirements into ALWIN designs, build demo environments, and train partners. Some domestic travel is required. Candidates should have presales or sales engineering experience in security, strong presentation skills, and familiarity with PSIM, IP networking, and system integration.

Qualifications

• Presales, sales engineering or technical solution consulting experience in PSIM/security.
• Strong presentation and public speaking for technical/executive audiences.
• Translate technical capabilities into business value for critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of PSIM/security platforms, IP networking basics, system integration.
• Experience supporting system integrators and channel partners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical product demonstrations and presentations of ALWIN to end users, system integrators, and consultants.
• Partner with Vertical Market Managers to support opportunities from qualification through close.
• Translate customer and integrator technical requirements into ALWIN solution designs and proposals.
• Support RFP/RFI responses with technical scoping, specifications, and solution narratives.
• Build and maintain demo environments, PoC configurations, and standard presentation materials for ALWIN.
• Serve as the technical contact during evaluations, pilots, and integrator onboarding.
• Provide competitive positioning and technical objection-handling support to the sales team.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay field feedback and market requirements.
• Train VMMs, integrators, and channel partners on ALWIN capabilities and best practices.
