Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in the USA is seeking a Presales Engineer, ALWIN, to lead customer and integrator-facing demonstrations and to support Vertical Market Managers through the sales cycle.

You will translate complex security and PSIM capabilities into business value for critical infrastructure customers, deliver technical presentations, train partners, and collaborate with product and engineering teams. Some domestic travel is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in presales, sales engineering, or security tech consulting.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills to executive audiences.
• Translate technical capabilities into business value for critical infrastructure customers.
• Working knowledge of security/PSIM platforms, IP networking, and system integration concepts.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical demonstrations of ALWIN to end users, system integrators, and consultants.
• Partner with Vertical Market Managers to support opportunities from qualification through close.
• Translate customer and integrator technical requirements into ALWIN solution designs and proposals.
• Support RFP/RFI responses with technical scoping, specifications, and solution narratives.
• Build and maintain demo environments, proof-of-concept configurations, and standard presentation materials.
• Serve as the technical point of contact during evaluations, pilots, and integrator onboarding.
• Provide competitive positioning and technical objection-handling support to the sales team.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay field feedback and market requirements.
• Train VMMs, integrators, and channel partners on ALWIN capabilities and best practices.
