Job summary

UKG is seeking a Presales Manager in the United States to lead and scale a team of top-tier consultants across the full sales lifecycle. You will shape opportunity strategy, ensure high-quality demos, and drive operational rigor while fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.

You will align talent to opportunities, coach teams, and collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Services to deliver compelling solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of presales experience in enterprise software within a consultative sales cycle.
• 3+ years of people leadership including hiring, coaching, performance management, and development.
• Ability to lead and develop high-performing customer-facing teams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Strong presentation and communication skills tailored for executives, technical teams, and end users.
• Extensive experience in Human Capital Management (HCM) and/or Payroll systems.
• Strong business acumen linking presales execution to broader sales and revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Drive presales excellence and standardization across processes, storytelling, and value articulation.
• Align talent to opportunities based on skills, readiness, and needs.
• Partner with Sales Leaders to shape opportunity strategy and competitive positioning.
• Ensure operational rigor and continuous improvement across tools, demos, and engagement models.
• Lead, coach, and develop Presales Solution Consultants through regular 1:1s and reviews.
• Assess competencies and implement targeted development plans for skill growth.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain presales talent within HCM, Payroll, and related domains.
• Foster an inclusive, high-trust team culture grounded in accountability and collaboration.
• Assign consultants to opportunities based on skills and utilization targets.
• Prepare for high-impact demos and executive engagements with coaching and content reviews.
• Ensure quality and alignment across presales deliverables.
• Track key presales metrics to drive performance and improvement.
• Maintain adherence to CoE-standard presales processes and demo frameworks.
• Monitor team capacity and gaps to optimize resource deployment.
• Collaborate with Sales to inform deal strategy and value capture.
• Work with Product, Services, and Marketing to drive readiness and customer insights.
• Champion storytelling, value articulation, and demo innovation.
