Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Bellevue, WA is seeking entry-level Team Members to perform prep, counter service, sanitation, and stocking duties while delivering courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.

You will follow store SOPs, participate in required trainings, and support health and safety regulations. The role emphasizes strong product knowledge, teamwork, and a passion for natural foods in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assists with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensures all prepared foods are properly labeled, dates, initialed, covered, and rotated.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Documents waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Ensures product production is performed using correct measuring devices and all recipes are followed.
• Helps customers understand the difference between WFM products and products at conventional stores.
• Keeps walk-ins and freezers clean and well-organized.
• Arrives on time, groomed and ready to work; participates in scheduled shifts and trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques; answers phones promptly.
