Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member for the Prepared Foods department. You will handle food preparation, counter service, stocking, and sanitation while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers and teammates.

Work includes on-floor engagement, following SOPs, and assisting with inventory and cleanliness. The role supports store programs and health regulations, with opportunities for growth within the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold foods, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad and pizza.
• Assist customers with product samples and selections.
• Stock displays and cases; rotate products for freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation; follow health and safety rules.
• Complete worksheets for spoilage, temperature checks, and inventory where required.
• Provide courteous, efficient service and support team leads as needed.
