Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member for Prepared Foods to support on the floor with food preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking. You will engage with customers, follow store procedures, and assist with inventory and merchandising to uphold health and safety standards.

The role emphasizes proactive selling, teamwork, and maintaining a welcoming store environment, including proper greeting and assistance to customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods.
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks cases and displays with prepared foods.
• Checks in-stock product dates to ensure freshness.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying items.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary environment and proper pricing.
