Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Seattle is seeking entry-level Team Members to prepare, stock, and serve a variety of prepared foods with a focus on customer service and sanitation. You will rotate stock, check dates, and maintain clean, safe work areas while providing friendly assistance on the floor.

The role supports Team Leaders and participates in required trainings and meetings, with exposure to multiple departments and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or food service preferred.
• Ability to learn product offerings and medical/food safety basics.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, and pizza.
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods from kitchen, walk-in preparation, and refrigerators.
• Checks in-stock product dates to ensure freshness and rotates when necessary.
• Bails and consolidates recyclables.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
