Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member to support the Prepared Foods team, including preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking of products. You will provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members while upholding store standards and health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods.
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks cases and displays with prepared foods.
• Checks in-stock dates and rotates stock for freshness.
• Assists in organizing and displaying items.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Supports periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time and attends trainings and meetings.
• Delivers excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety according to procedures.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and checks pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
