• Experience Required: 1 to 3 years

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain food quality standards, ensure food safety and sanitation, and keep equipment in good working order.
• Supervise prepared food team members to maximize production and efficiency in the absence of the Team Leader/Manager.
• Assist in controlling operating expenses and achieving budgeted food and labor costs; understand P&L/LOB reports.
• Manage department staff by scheduling, assigning work, and enforcing company policies.
• Support store promotions, sampling, and special events to increase profits. Monitor competitors in the area.
• Organize and maintain food storage areas per health and safety standards, including labeling, preventing cross-contamination, and temperature control.
• Keep accurate department records for audit reviews.
• Analyze customer feedback reports to identify improvement areas and coach team members accordingly.
• Ensure out-of-stock percentages meet goals through proper procedures.
• Promote team development and identify candidates for management programs.
• Prepare food for customers, including cooking, frying, grilling, and prep work like chopping and slicing.
• Follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Set up and maintain gourmet food displays and packages for Grab and Go cases, including checking product dates.
• Engage in suggestive selling and product sampling to enhance customer experience.
