This role is designed to inspire our Team Members and customers to discover the pleasure of food. The Prepared Foods Team Leader manages the Prepared Foods Team at both locations, ensuring smooth operations. You will be a guiding presence for Team Members and guests, helping create great meals and staying updated on new products. Leaders are accountable for the department's operating performance at all times. Represent the organization professionally, promote inclusion, diversity, and dignity, and coach Team Members regularly to foster development and success.

Job Description

• Experience Required: Retail work experience or Store Leader recommendation
• Experience Desired: Retail leadership or supervisory experience; success as a Peer Trainer, in-store champion, or similar role; relevant product knowledge; satisfactory performance and discipline record
• Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or Licensing Required: Food Safety
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Perform key duties such as interviewing, selecting, training Team Members, directing work, appraising productivity, handling issues, disciplining, planning, assigning work, ensuring safety, managing budgets and inventory, and monitoring compliance.
• Oversee and evaluate training to reduce turnover, promote efficiency, and control labor costs.
• Provide motivational leadership, set an example, and foster respect and inclusion.
• Identify team strengths and opportunities, think strategically in scheduling, and develop future leaders.
• Maintain safety as a top priority for Team Members, guests, and products.
• Inspire the team with passion for food and a commitment to excellence.
• Set and achieve sales and profit goals, manage shrink, and suggest improvements.
• Communicate effectively with the team and merchandising to ensure promotions are well communicated.
• Propose innovative ideas to improve business performance.
• Analyze financial reports and historical data to enhance sales, profits, shrink control, and labor management.
• Oversee inventory accuracy and monitor fluctuations regularly.
