Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City, MI is hiring a Prep/Pantry Cook to support multiple restaurant concepts with timely prep, accurate recipe execution, and adherence to sanitation standards.

The role offers full-time, part-time, and flexible scheduling with benefits and opportunities for training through Great Wolf University. Prior resort/hotel cooking experience is a plus and a team-focused, energetic atmosphere is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year of previous cook experience in a similar environment.
• Solid knowledge of food preparation and sanitation standards.
• Ability to operate POS and kitchen display systems.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to obtain local/state food handling permits and ServSafe certification.
• Successful completion of background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for all fruits, vegetables, meats, and seafood per recipes.
• Perform prep work to support all restaurants and banquets.
• Assist Buffet and Banquet operations according to production lists and BEOs.
• Work Pantry and Dessert Station in various restaurant formats.
• Execute orders promptly while multitasking across orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
