Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge in Mason, OH is seeking a Prep/Pantry Cook to deliver high-quality hospitality. You will prepare food for guests, follow recipe cards, and support multiple kitchens and buffets with fast, accurate prep actions.

This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow through cross-training, scholarship funds, and the Great Wolf University training program. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K with match, time off, and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of previous cook experience in a similar environment.
• Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation standards.
• Ability to operate POS and Kitchen Display System.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to obtain local/state food handling permits and ServSafe certification.
• Criminal background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and follow department procedures; complete logs and sheets.
• Ensure compliance with food-handling and sanitation regulations.
• Prepare food for fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry, fish, etc.
• Prep work to support all restaurants; produce per recipe.
• Support Buffet/Banquet; prep per production list and BEOs.
• Work Pantry and/or Dessert Station; handle orders promptly.
• Prepare items per recipe; adjust flavors with supervisor/chefs.
• Weigh and measure ingredients; monitor supplies.
• Maintain dishes and utensils; ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure safe and healthy work environment; sanitation standards.
• Follow Ecosure or similar sanitation standards.
• Assist Sous Chef or leadership; end-of-shift checkout.
