Job summary

Apicha Community Health Center seeks a PrEP Navigator to recruit and engage HIV-positive individuals or those at high risk for HIV infection, providing navigation for PEP/PrEP to retention in care at the 400 Broadway location in New York, NY.

The role requires outreach at high-risk venues, collaboration with the clinical team, and accurate record-keeping in APICHA’s system. A high school diploma with related experience or some college is preferred, with bilingual abilities valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with 1 year of related field experience or some college with 1 year experience.
• Fluency in Spanish or one of Asian languages preferred.
• Commitment to Apicha’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to high-risk individuals under supervision.
• Conduct outreach and recruitment at health events and venues.
• Collaborate with clinical team to coordinate care and services.
• Work with agency staff from various departments.
• Maintain accurate records in designated databases and reporting structures.
• Collect, prepare, and report on services and activities in a timely manner.
• Attend internal and external meetings as assigned.
