Union New American in Tampa is hiring Prep Cooks to join their team. The restaurant offers globally inspired fare with a vibrant atmosphere, located in Westshore City Center.

Prep Cooks will be responsible for producing all assigned menu items while maintaining high standards of efficiency and sanitation. Each candidate should have previous culinary experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Union New American, located at the Westshore City Center in Tampa, and is the go-to for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch with globally inspired fare. Guests can also enjoy a private event space on the second floor.

Job Summary

Our Cooks are responsible for producing all assigned menu items in an efficient and consistent manner while following Next Level Brands’ specifications, recipes and technique and maintaining sanitation standards.

Physical Requirements

• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and transport food and other items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours during a single shift, while possibly navigating ramps, stairs, and elevators.
