Job summary

Firehouse Subs is seeking a dedicated Prep Cook / Slicer to join our team at our restaurant. This behind-the-scenes role slices, portions, and preps premium meats, cheeses, and produce for every sub.

You will slice and portion meats, prep produce, and keep stock rotated, while following all food safety guidelines. Morning availability and physical stamina are essential; must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in a walk-in cooler.

Qualifications

• 18+ (required to run the slicer).
• Morning availability (flexible).
• Able to lift 50 lbs, stand/bend/reach through shift.
• Able to operate in walk-in cooler/freezer (40°F to -10°F).
• Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Slice and portion meats to exact specs
• Prep produce, meats, and cheeses with knives, slicers, and dicers
• Keep product rotated and stocked for the line
• Stock deliveries, clean prep areas and equipment
• Follow all food safety guidelines
