Job summary

Firehouse Subs is seeking a dedicated Prep Cook / Slicer to join our team in Elizabethtown. This role backs daily kitchen operations by slicing, portioning, and prepping premium meats, cheeses, and produce for high-quality subs.

You will handle slicers and knives, maintain accurate portioning, and keep prep areas clean and organized while following food safety guidelines. Morning availability and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• 18+ to operate the slicer.
• Morning availability is preferred.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for shift.
• Work in walk-in cooler/freezer (40°F to -10°F).
• Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Slice and portion meats to exact specs.
• Prep produce, meats, and cheeses with knives and slicers.
• Rotate and stock products for the line.
• Stock deliveries and clean prep areas/equipment.
• Follow all food safety guidelines.
