Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock in Connecticut is seeking a dedicated prep cook to support daily kitchen operations. You will make prep recipes and menu items to spec, label and date prepped goods, and ensure proper refrigeration and storage.

You’ll perform opening and closing duties, stock stations, maintain a clean and organized work area, and uphold safety and sanitation standards. The role requires urgency, attention to detail, reading tickets or the Kitchen Display System, and professional communication

Qualifications

• Prepare recipes and menu items to specification.
• Label, date, cover and refrigerate prepped items.
• Open/close duties—set up, stock, and break down kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and line.
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards.
• Demonstrate urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Read order tickets or Kitchen Display System accurately.
• Assemble orders and verify product quality and specs.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and Front-of-the-House staff.
• Handle re-cook, special prep, large party procedures.
