Barcelona Wine Bar in Denver, CO is seeking a Prep Cook to support the executive chef with daily food preparation and station setup.

You will chop vegetables, break down stations, cut meat, weigh and mix ingredients, wash and prep produce, and help ensure meals are cooked to perfection.

This position requires attention to detail, basic math and clear communication with kitchen staff; prior food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 2- or 4-year culinary degree preferred, but not required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in food service/hospitality.
• Food handler's card may be required depending on local/state regulations.

Responsabilités

• Follow directions in food preparation and storing.
• Label and date all prepped items clearly.
• Ensure that all food is properly prepared for use by line cooks.
