Job summary

Forno Osteria and Bar Montgomery in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a motivated Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. We value house-made pasta, fresh ingredients, and a collaborative, prideful craft.

Responsibilities include producing fresh pasta, following recipes, keeping prep stations clean, labeling and storing foods, supporting line cooks, and upholding food safety. Some weekend/evening availability required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen prep or restaurant experience preferred.
• Experience making fresh pasta is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing fresh, house-made pasta
• Follow recipes and kitchen standards consistently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations
• Properly label, store, and rotate food products
• Assist line cooks and chefs during prep and service needs
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Help maintain a positive, team-oriented kitchen environment
