Job summary

Forno Osteria & Bar Montgomery in Cincinnati invites a Prep Cook to join a team known for house-made pasta and warm hospitality. You will assist in producing fresh pasta, follow recipes and kitchen standards, and help maintain clean prep stations in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers competitive pay based on experience, opportunities to learn traditional Italian kitchen techniques, and a supportive team with growth potential. AM shift five days a week; Sundays are typically off.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen prep or restaurant experience preferred.
• Experience making fresh pasta is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing fresh, house-made pasta
• Follow recipes and kitchen standards consistently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations
• Properly label, store, and rotate food products
• Assist line cooks and chefs during prep and service needs
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Help maintain a positive, team-oriented kitchen environment
