Job summary

Trolley House Refreshments, the Convenience Services division of Trolley Hospitality Companies, is hiring for a morning-focused kitchen prep role in the Richmond area. You will work Saturday through Wednesday (6:00 AM–2:00 PM) preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and following strict food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• Morning person with ability to start before sunrise.
• 2+ years of food prep experience preferred.
• Neat, professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand long periods.
• Conversational Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wash, chop, cut, weigh, mix, and cook ingredients per recipes and food-safety rules.
• Clean and set up kitchen equipment, appliances and work areas.
• Label, date, and store food products according to safety rules.
• Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other equipment as needed.
• Follow food safety guidelines and safety protocols.
• Be available for early morning shifts: Sat-Wed 6:00AM–2:00PM.

What you will be doing:

• Wash, chop, cut, weigh, mix, and cook ingredients according to set recipe and food safety standards.
• Clean, set up, and break down kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
• Cover, label, and date all food products, and follow all food safety rules for proper storage.
• Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipment, as needed.
• Work in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines.
• Available to work early mornings: Saturday - Wednesday 6:00AM-2:PM

What you bring to the table:

• Basic knowledge of kitchen language
• 2+ Years of Food Prep Experience would be nice
• Neat and professional appearance
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Conversational Spanish a plus
