Job Summary

The Prep Cook prepares food and serves customers according to federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
2. Prepare items following recipes and quantities on production sheets.
3. Complete and follow daily worksheets and waste logs; taste meals for quality.
4. Operate and clean equipment after use.
5. Store, label, and date food items per policy, following HACCP guidelines.
6. Complete documentation, reports, and logs as required.
7. Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
8. Take customer orders and prepare quick-serve items.
9. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
10. Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
11. Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
