We are hiring immediately for a full-time Prep Cook position.

Location: JMH - 16000 Johnston Memorial Drive, Abingdon, VA 24211 Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time. Days and hours may vary. Must be able to work every other weekend/holiday. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Previous food service and cooking experience required.

Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food and serve customers according to standards and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
• Prepare items following recipes and quantities.
• Complete and follow production worksheets and waste logs. Taste meals for quality.
• Operate and clean equipment after use.
• Store, label, and date food items following HACCP guidelines.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Follow health and sanitation regulations.
• Take customer orders and prepare quick-serve items.
• Serve customers efficiently and friendly.
• Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
• Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
