We are hiring immediately for a full-time Prep Cook position at Flik Independent School Dining.

Location

Providence Country Day School - 660 Waterman Avenue, East Providence, RI 02914. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule

Full-time; Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirements

Prior food service and culinary experience required.
*Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available

Pay Rate

$18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
• Prepare items following recipes and standards.
• Complete and follow production worksheets and logs; taste meals for quality.
• Operate and clean equipment after use.
• Store, label, and date food items following HACCP guidelines.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Follow health and sanitation regulations.
• Take customer orders and prepare quick-serve items.
• Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use.
• Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
